The National Center for Early Warning of New Energy Consumption Monitoring has just announced the new wind power consumption capacity in China in 2020. In 2020, the national new wind power consumption capacity of 36.65GW, of which: the National Grid added 29.45GW of wind power, the southern power grid added 6.2GW of wind power, Inner Mongolia power added 1GW of wind power.
The National New Energy Consumer Monitoring and Early Warning Center on the issuance of the 2020 national wind power, photovoltaic power generation to add the new capacity of the announcement.
In accordance with the "State Energy Administration on the 2020 wind power, photovoltaic power generation project construction related matters notice" (National Energy Development New Energy (2020) No. 17) requirements, the State Grid Corporation, Southern Power Grid Corporation, Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company carried out the operation of the region's provincial areas in 2020 wind power, photovoltaic power generation new capacity measurement work, the National New Energy Monitoring and Early Warning Center carried out the measurement and assessment work, reviewed by the State Energy Administration, is published as follows:
In order to carry out the central government's decision-making and deployment on the overall promotion of epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, and to promote the sustained and healthy development of the wind power and photovoltaic power generation industry, the State Energy Administration has made it clear that the limited power generation capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the first quarter of 2020 will not be included in the statistical assessment of clean energy consumption, and the national and key areas of wind power and photovoltaic power generation utilization capacity will be fully released under the premise of the target set by the Clean Energy Reduction Action Plan (2018-2020). According to the calculation of the power generation situation excluding the first quarter, the total new consumption capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in 2020 was 85.1 million kilowatts, of which 36.65 million kilowatts of wind power and 48.45 million kilowatts of photovoltaicpower.
Among them, the total new consumption capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the State Grid Corporation's operating area in 2020 is 68.5 million kilowatts, of which 29.45 million kilowatts of wind power and 39.05 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power; the total new consumption of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the operation area of China Southern Power Grid in 2020 . The capacity is 13.6 million kilowatts, including 6.2 million kilowatts of wind power and 7.4 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power. In 2020, the total new consumption capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in the Inner Mongolia Electric Power Company’s operating area is 3 million kilowatts, including 1 million kilowatts of wind power and 2 million kilowatts of photovoltaic power. See the appendix for details of the new consumption capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation in all provinces (regions and cities) across the country in 2020.
If major boundary conditions change, the new consumption capacity of wind power and photovoltaic power generation will be calculated and adjusted in time, and will be released to the public again according to procedures.
