Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hub (Zhuao Port Artificial Island) Vibration Safety Monitoring Project
Zhuao Port Artificial Island is located at the Zhuhai Port Artificial Island on the south side of Zhuhai Gongbei Bay. It is the connection center between the main project of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Zhuhai and Macau. The artificial island is 930 to 960 meters wide from east to west and 1930 meters long from north to south. The total area of land reclamation is nearly 2.2 million square meters. The island began construction on December 15, 2009, with a total cost of 1.835 billion yuan
The artificial island will become a comprehensive operation center that integrates transportation, management, service, rescue and sightseeing functions, and a viewing platform will be set up for tourists to watch the landscape. During the construction process, the builders strictly managed and carried out scientific construction, successively overcome the high environmental protection requirements, the difficulty of resource supply guarantee, frequent typhoons, rising material prices, and harsh offshore construction conditions. We should have strong construction management and control, heavy engineering quality, rushing construction progress to ensure safe production. With first-class technology, first-class equipment and first-class spirit, the project has been completed efficiently and with high quality. After more than four years of hard work by the builders, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Zhuao Port artificial island reclamation project was successfully completed on November 28, 2013 and passed inspection and delivery.
This project is a safety monitoring project for the Zhuao Port artificial island transportation hub. It consists of 18 QZ2013 horizontal horizontal vibration accelerometers, 32 941B vertical vibration displacement meters, 2 9-channel G01NET-3-D acceleration data acquisition instruments and 6 8-channel G01NET-3-D vibration displacement data acquisition instrument, the complete monitoring system is equipped with 4G wireless transmission DTU module, real-time data acquisition, and real-time data transmission through wireless network, as well as online data analysis of the back-end server as a whole Data monitoring system.

◆ Design verification through monitoring. Due to the mechanical and structural characteristics of the large bridge and the specific environment it is in, it is very difficult to safely grasp and predict its mechanical and behavioral characteristics during the design phase of the bridge. Therefore, it is of great significance to test the theoretical model and calculation assumptions of the bridge through the dynamic and static behavior of the actual structure obtained by the bridge health test. Not only has it verified the design theory and design model, but also benefited the formation of new design theory.
